In 1987, two best friends pooled $800 to rent a tiny attic workshop in Providence, Rhode Island—America's jewelry capital—where they handcrafted their first pieces by lamplight while the smell of fresh bread drifted up from the bakery below.
What started at a single workbench built from old church pews has grown into a team of 12 artisans, but the tradition never changed: every clasp is still fastened by hand, every stone still set with the same care as piece number one.
